How did your journey at Hirsch begin?

I learned of a job opening through my lifelong friend, Kevin Shaughnessy, Director of Inventory Control, who I grew up with in Highland Park.  Kevin mentioned a driver position was available at the Hollywood branch Interviewed for the position, was hired by Hirsch in 1995, and stayed with Hirsch ever since. I am proud of my Hirsch Journey and have worked my way up to becoming a Divisional Manager.

What has motivated you the most during your 28-year tenure at Hirsch?

What's truly motivated me over these years is the culture at Hirsch. It's a place where hard work is not only acknowledged but also rewarded with opportunities for growth. That aspect has always resonated with me.

Could you share a recent project you've worked on that you believe benefits our customers?

I have recently been involved in the enhancement of HirschNow &  DeliveryNow. This initiative plays a crucial role in our commitment to providing excellent service to our customers. I genuinely believe that the work I've contributed to this project will enhance transparency in our deliveries and positively impact how our customers complete their jobs.

What sets Hirsch apart from other plumbing distributors in your opinion?

For me, it's the people who make Hirsch stand out. It's the feeling of not being just another face in the crowd. We have exceptional leadership under Bill Glockner, who has always made me feel like a valued member of the company. His vision has turned Hirsch into a major player in the plumbing industry, and that's something special.
