Meet Drew!
How did you get started at Hirsch?
My journey at Hirsch began with a referral from Maribel Venegas, current Marketing Programs Manager. I joined the Hirsch Pomona Branch under the mentorship of Branch Manager, Tony Anntoinci, I spent the first seven years as a driver. During my time as a driver, I seeked out every opportunity to learn how to become a Counter Sales person. Tony really helped me develop those skills and in turn, that opened doors for me to transfer to our Kearny Mesa store a become a branch manager. I later became the branch manager of our San Marcos store and today I am now a Divisional Manager.
What has inspired you most during your 18 years at Hirsch?
In short, the Culture. I found that the genuine warmth and camaraderie among the Hirsch team created an environment where everyone was valued as an individual, not just another number. This culture inspires me to give my best every day and that continues to be true today.

What is a recent project you have worked on that will help our customers?
A recent project that I worked on is the launch of our HVAC product line. My experience working with and getting to know our customers really helped me contribute to the successful launch of our HVAC line. I am proud to have contributed to this effort and I believe it will benefit our customers for years to come.
What makes Hirsch special compared to other plumbing distributors?
The culture separates Hirsch from the competition. Just walk into any Hirsch branch and you will know instantly this is not just another plumbing distributor. I am going to steal a line from our CEO/President, Bill Glockner “We want our stores to be the Cheers of the community”. I have taken that to heart, and I try to keep the Hirsch culture with everything I do.
