How did you get started at Hirsch?

I started as a Financial Analyst working for Doug Evans -  CFO of Hirsch Pipe & Supply. Doug taught me just about everything I know. I attribute a lot of my success to Doug because of his leadership and guidance.

What has inspired you most during your 8 years at Hirsch?

What has inspired me the most during my time with Hirsch is the diversity of opportunities. I really enjoy the challenge of deciding on where to open new stores, figuring out the right inventory mix to put into our stores,  and figuring out complex business solutions. I really enjoy the challenge of helping set up Hirsch and its customers for long term, sustainable success.

What is a recent project you have worked on that will help our customers?

I've worked on the opening of Hirsch Cooling and Heating. I'm very excited to see how that new product category will add a lot of value to our existing network for our customers. For our customers who have businesses in both plumbing and HVAC,  see a benefit for them because Hirsch can provide a one stop shop experience which will eliminate the need for our customers to shop at multiple places.  

What makes Hirsch special compared to other plumbing distributors?

We have an agile structure that allows us to adapt to changing market conditions which allows us to meet our customers’ needs faster. This really allows us to stick our customers first culture.

Our Hirsch Creed also makes us special compared to other distributors. Our creed is to enrich the lives of our employees and customers. There is not a bigger champion of this than our President & CEO, Bill Glockner, who really embodies our creed because he really cares both about our customers and employees.
