Job Summary
There is a lot of interesting financial analysis going on at Hirsch and this position will be right at the center of it. As a financial analyst, you will report directly to the Finance Analytics Manager and support him by preparing pro forma financial statements, analyzing key data and reports, and evaluating new opportunities, including acquisitions and new store openings. Key Responsibilities

Create detailed proformas and financial models to evaluate strategic options, including business acquisitions, sourcing decisions and operational changes

Create presentations of Key Performance Indicators to assist in decision making

Evaluate potential new store sites – in person and analytically
Handle special projects assigned by the FP & A Manager
Job Requirements (you need to have these)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a math related field
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in financial modeling
- Outstanding Excel skills
- Strong overall computer skills, including all MS-Office programs
- Excellent quantitative abilities
Desired Traits (any of these is a plus)
- Experience with a Graphical Information Systems (like MapPoint, MapInfo, ESRI, etc.)
- Experience with relational databases, including MS Access
- Experience in the wholesale construction trades
