The Chemtrol® socket union is an injection molded PVC SCH 80/XH thermoplastic fitting for use with chemical processing, industrial plating, chilled water distribution, deionized water lines, chemical drainage and waste water treatment systems. The dark grey PVC socket union features female socket connections. This fitting has an FKM fluorocarbon seal which is suited to most applications involving mineral acids, salt solutions, chlorinated hydrocarbons and petroleum oils.
